Compliance with government policies during emergencies: Trust, participation and protective actions

چکیده
When and why do citizens comply with government policies restrictions during emergencies? We investigate possible answers to this question. propose a mediation model where trust in emergency organizations as well perceived effectiveness mediate the relationships between participation decision making willingness comply. also utilize protective action decision-making perceptions about actions threats can add explanation. Using national survey distributed representative sample of Israeli population wake second wave spread Covid-19, we found that emergencies is related these research variables. Participation appears be main variable, but it negatively conclude public sector should develop improve communication participatory mechanisms specifically for emergencies.
